and i dreamt about mirrors again. but not looking into them. but just looking at the frames and they were really ugly frames. and i dreamt that i twisted my left ankle and when i woke up my right ankle was aching very badly. and i also dreamt that i had a sip of beer and i spitted it out because it was awful and i kept rinsing my mouth and brushing my teeth over. and over again. ewww...

---

you wanna know what? i was combing my hair this morning and i saw my shadow dancing. like, no kidding. in broad daylight.
i was sooo spooked out.

and i received a postcard too. yay!

sounds: the surface of eceon, fischerspooner, bright calm blue 7" (the song 'april'. haven't heard this in forever!)

: was made to go to a huge auditorium where prayers were conducted on stage and it was a multi-religious one. and the seats were really weird and the lights were dim and everybody looked like zombies. :

and on the previous night
: there were trays and trays of food being served to me. and i watched on like an arrogant king without the slightest interest at all. :

music equals blue ontario and 7% solution.

on other things, i went to see kreidler on wednesday night.
they were really good. if they're in a town near you, go see them.

watched frida on dvd this morning.
very beautiful film. in all aspects.
if you're into dali, then this should not be missed.

soundtrack of the past few days consists of melody club, the new sick lipstick, hint hint and the prom.

for the past week, my dreams have been cut and paste of mismatched fragments of collage and paper mache. pieces from various jigsaw puzzles. empty film. blank paper. the pen has no ink. and on monday night, it was about shoes. i do not like dreams about shoes. they are no good. except for the one i had about chocolate shoes. yeah, the dream about chocolate shoes was really good.

i am on holidays now.
not that it makes a difference.

my life is like that other dream i had last year about me going to an art school in a prison. go figure.

today i have listened to:
1. clikatat ikatowi 'live august 1995' cd
2. the festival of dead deer 'many faces of mental illness' lp.
and no, neither of these bands mentioned are "screamo".
get your fuckin' genres right.

: [1] weddings again. but no family involved. and it was this indian guy with a chinese girl. and they wanted to get married so badly before they graduated. but just as they were about to exchange vows, it rained super heavily and the wedding didn't happen. [2] in a strange english/irish pub having my dinner that consisted of funny looking vegetables. (funny weird not funny ha-ha) the bartender then started to do some sort of a jig/western dance and it was supposed to be very entertaining but i was bored to pieces. :

currently listening to the shins. (new album out next month! yes!)

: so we were supposed to play in this venue that looked like the one in richmond, australia. can't remember for the life of me what the name's called but it's something like that. between factories. in a warehouse. upstairs. and while we were waiting...the vocalist said she wasn't really in the mood. and i didn't bring my keyboards but wondered if i could borrow one anyway. and suddenly a bunch of girls got up on stage and started doing a little sketch of some sort. so we left. and the next thing i knew, i was in a library and had to return my books to another branch. and all my books were about radiohead. (i think this has something to do with me watching radiohead on mtv last night.) :

old-school readers of the gry would be familiar with my sporadic dreams of missing link. the record store in melbourne, australia.
news i received in my electronic inbox just minutes ago...

"...Missing Link is moving in three week's time to a new location, still in the city on Bourke Street, close to Bunnings, the hardware store. ..."

now this is very upsetting for me since i will no longer be able to go to the old store. ever. again. yes, things change. "..the world's changin', everythin's changin', iggy pop's changin'..." (tell me where this quote is from and i'll give you a prize.) however, i do hope my travel plans for xmas/new year's will be achieved and that should be really really good.

is it sunday already? fuckin' hell.

listening to: fischerspooner.

lab 2. pc ML2-8-4.
i like this pc. i can see everyone but everyone can't see me. unless they stand behind me. and if they do, i can swivel around and hiss at them. like how lulu the cat hisses. "hisssssssss".

and so last nite, there were loads of fucked up dreams. like one where my dad drove to singapore. and he dropped me off somewhere near yishun. and it was a strange block of flats. and i told little sister, "come let's go to dino's place." and when we got there, there were this group of people at the void-deck (is that how you spell it? *shrugs*) playing the gamelan. and it was like..so freaky. and we were about to enter the lift when little sister decided to go into a taxi. and i followed her. and then i said "we're already here. let's get out." but the taxi driver was this old spookified-zombified bald chinese dude. and he locked the doors. and he turned around to look at us. and we were scared shitless. and i text-ed the sayang but the sayang didn't reply. and i panicked. and old spookified-zombified bald chinese dude reversed the car. and we couldn't get out. and out of nowhere, there were two huge bottles of mineral water and i splashed the water at his face. and then i woke up.

yes. maybe that doesn't sound so fucked but you would think so if you were in my position.

i want to change the layout of this blog.
but i kinda like it already so maybe not.
i also want a new pair of headphones,
a new pair of sneakers and
unlimited credit on my credit card.
yes. that would rule a hella lot.

today i have listened to:
the lies, the smiths, bs2000 and the rondelles.
