: avalanche. avalanche. avalanche. walls caving in. kittens running around in circles. ducklings running wild. girls holding flowers falling from the stage. distant relatives overly concerned with jobs and status. internet cafe run by old hippies. blue screens. blue screens. swing music and ...:
the sun barged in. and eyes refused to shut.

and for that two hour span,
: i went to a wedding and all the bridesmaids were dressed in a different theme. sportybridesmaid was the last to arrive. how unfortunate. as they left the ceremony, they played bs2000. i remember. it was 'sick for a reason'. everyone was bopping their hair. before the wedding, i bumped into a classmate from primary school. she looked about 72. flab everywhere. "love cancer". after the wedding, i met my parents and asked about love cancer. they said it was something to do with elephants.
either before or after all that, i was supposed to buy a tennis grip but the store had turned into a tennis court. lots of siamese twins. also, i found myself in a food court where all they ever sold was octopus. :
yeah.

an average of 4 to 5 hours of sleep daily equals split second images abstracted from the day before. twisted into different shapes and sizes. blended into varying colours and temperatures. served on a cold plate together with forks and knives and dessert spoons. hence weakening the batteries of the brain. both sides. but usually more to the left. throb throb throb.
: (a) was brought to a hospital. she walked in. i sat outside. it turned into an animal clinic. but they were all white poodles. i continued to sit and flip through fashion magazines. all issued in 1988.
(b)there was a gig in my house. everyone came. set up their equipments. and once the sound was perfect, they dismantled everything. thanked me and left. :
sound = mouse on mars, john zorn/naked city.
compact discs and cassette tapes respectively.

: the picture was split into three. (i)talking to skelly and pierce. - their voices were rather clear and they're still in my head as we speak. (ii)i am in a room. supposedly my bedroom. sitting by a huge open tank that is in the middle of the floor. waiting for someone to bring me a turtle. finally he comes. i can't see his face. just his body and hands. he takes out a small wooden box and unwraps the plastic and out comes a brown lizard. although it looks more like a stuffed lizard. places it into the water and it comes to life. this was the supposed turtle. in the tank was also a zebra striped fish. (iii)in the airport. waiting for a lady to put on her shoes. while she constantly rattles about flying to canada and london and how tired she'll be. :
sound = silkworm 'couldn't you wait' (accoustic)

the kids are playing fireworks. at 2am. it's no surprise.
but i need to sleep. i do.
------
flashbacks. keep on flashing. distant memories become clear.
upsetting. but it is inevitable.
------
it is important to acknowledge your existence.
and not take things for granted.
do not take life for granted.
------
always experiment. do not fear change.
that's what separates us from animals.
