we live in a huge maelstrom
with time and tide waiting for no man.
and yet
we breathe day in day out
wasting energy on the irrelevant

quick we should not be
to oblige to all
for the sake of 'face' and courtesy

willingly we should not
reveal
our falls and flaws
for the sake of humility

enough hoping and wishing already
and direct all energy for your
self.
it is your grave after all.
and no one is coming with you.
