last last night.
:  (a) was on some outing with a few drama club teachers and one of them wanted to give me her brand new-never worn rockabilly looking steve mcqueen peep-toe platform wedges. they looked kinda cute but alas, too many sizes too big. (yes, i know it's supposed to be alexander mcqueen but that's what the labels read as. *shrugs* (b) separate outing and it felt like i was at a marine/maritime museum and i purchased far too much chocolate and a stuffed polar bear.  (c) got a new pair of glasses with really good lenses (but not the HD kind but still just as good) and vision was way more clearer but damn, the nose pads were really thick and hurt a lot: :

last night:
: (a) a text message and a phonecall from my american buddhist friend. (b) some christian missionaries were in the neighbourhood and they knocked my door like it was their sworn enemy and if they continued any further,  it would have probably exploded. (not that my door is built with explosives but anyways...) when i finally got around to letting them in, they morped into awkward teenage girls and i insisted they sat on my sofa before uttering a word and i proceeded to sabotage them by destroying their horrible looking footwear. (c) i was supposed to watch a baseball game with the british royal family but got bored and left halfway. :

did i ever mention that the avocado is the best fruit ever?
ever.

in chronological order :
: (i) husband and i had to sit for a math exam and in the waiting room, we saw SAA grinning at us. his eyes were more hazel than i had ever seen.
(ii) mother bought me new clothes. flannel and floral pints. as separate entities, but of course. and a pair of green jeans. it looked really nice but why green? who owns a pair of green jeans these days? as in, which un-lookbook-wannabe being owns a pair of green jeans these days? anyhow...
(iii) BC addressing NC as caroline and she corrected his pronunciation saying it's caro-lyn not line.
(iv-a.) supposed to go longboarding / skateboarding with colleagues but ended up in what seemed like a retirement village and all these old people were in queue to pass their urine samples to the MO on duty. and the samples were in glass bottles with a sticker of a red apple on it. gross.  
(iv-b.) performed ablution in a strange clothing shop and left my dada swatch in their bathroom and proceeded to sprint back home. that shop was just across the road but the distance felt forever and i only had those white japanese slippers and yet it picked up so much red earth. :

twenty twelve -  fluttering at fleeting speed.
it is so easy to be consumed by work and to use off days as nothing days.
and breakfast/dinner conversations are held as most precious moments.
it could be worse.

so much done and accomplished.
yet what exactly is achieved?

 maybe it does not really matter.
just maybe.
